Electric motors are installed today in many devices and machines as a drive. With Cost Control, the manufacturing costs of a three-phase motor can be determined with just a few inputs. Cost Control thus shows optimization possibilities and savings potential.

An electric motor is an electromechanical converter that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In conventional electric motors, the force is converted into motion. Thus, the electric motor is the counterpart to the generator, which converts kinetic energy into electrical energy. Electric motors usually generate rotating movements, but they can also perform translational movements (linear drive). Electric motors are used to drive various machines and vehicles – especially in rail vehicles.
